Tuesday, May 19th -- Installation!

Two weeks ago we received a call from our new Account Rep, Adeline Renaux, to inform us that our panels were ordered and the install has been scheduled. Bright and early on Tuesday, May 19th, the installers were here!   The workers were very professional and friendly. The Foreman explained how the day would proceed and answered my questions.

One word of advice -- If you discussed any changes to the original design layout with Sungevity, make sure to review the changes with the crew foreman when he arrives.  We changed the configuration of our panels during the design phase weeks ago, but the Forman only had the original design.  We were not aware of that until the panels were installed. But the error was quickly fixed.

Install complete!

This is the inverter and the solar meter. Very neat job! Everything passed Electrical Inspection. 

Once the Inspector's report is sent to the power company, a new meter will be installed and our solar system will officially be added to the grid.  We are told this could take about 2 weeks.
